The status of watermelon export and food export from Iran to neighboring countries has been satisfactory in recent years, so that the amount of watermelon export from Iran was 3,813,850 tons per year. Iran, which is considered one of the most prominent watermelon producing countries in the Middle East, ranks third among the top 10 producers in the world. The time to export watermelons is after the harvest season, so that the producers export their surplus products to the applicant countries after establishing a balance in the domestic market.
